Avanta appoints new Non-Executive Director

Avanta, one of the UK’s leading work-focused training and enterprise companies, has appointed Suzy Brain England as a Non-Executive Director.

 

Mrs Brain England is highly experienced, a qualified mentor and runs her own business.  In addition she is both chair and non executive director on several boards covering both the public and private sectors.  Some of her current appointments are:

Chair of the Decision Making Standards Committee for the Department for Work and Pensions,

Chair of the Advisory Board for Connexions West Yorkshire, which helps 14-19 year olds into work, education and training,

Chair of the Ofcom Advisory Committee for England and

Chair of Berneslai Homes, a housing Arms Length Management Organisation in Barnsley.
